KaTina Cannon is the founder of Little Legends Learning™, a one woman studio in Grand Junction, Colorado, creating personalized adventure workbooks for children. Every book is made by hand, page by page, and each one takes about two weeks from first idea to final printed page.
KaTina is a Gigi. When two of her youngest grandbabies started kindergarten, she wanted to make something that would help them learn, so she created her first personalized workbook. She shared it on her Facebook page, families loved it, and they started asking her to make books for their children too. That is how Little Legends Learning™ was born.
Children have always been at the center of KaTina's life. She ran her own daycare for thirteen years, and today she runs the sleep medicine department at a hospital alongside her other businesses. Her passion has never changed: she wants children to learn, grow, and excel.
That is why every Little Legends workbook is built around a real learning curriculum, for children from preschool through eighth grade. Activities are matched to grade level learning standards so each child stays on track academically while starring in an adventure built around their name, their favorite things, and what they are working on in school.
Inside a Real Book
A look at Trelon's Big Hero Adventures, made for a three year old. Free to quote with credit to Little Legends Learning™.
Trelon's Big Hero Adventures was created for a little boy who had just turned three. Every chapter wraps real early learning inside the things he loves most.
A superhero adventure
Trelon suits up as the hero of his own story while practicing his ABCs and tracing his first letters.
An animal farm adventure
Down on the farm, Trelon meets his favorite animals and works on letter sounds, counting, and early writing.
A band adventure
Because Trelon loves music, one whole chapter turns rhythm and instruments into playful learning practice.
Every adventure is built around a real curriculum, so while Trelon plays the hero, he is learning the skills a three year old needs: his ABCs, how to hold a pencil, and how to write his first letters.
